What I do
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this blurb of how I perceive myself.
My name is Araceli Espinoza Mead (Los Angeles, CA.) and I am here to discover openly the progress of my motherhood through a feminine and masculine balance. I will best reference Xicana feminism theory as well as the resistance against the logic of the Catholic ideology, while also battling holding onto cultural expectations and traditions.
In my full-time career I am an advocate and trainer for expanded learning. My ethos evokes “non-traditional” learning through exploration and social-emotional development. I am most inspired by my Mexican heritage which has continuously shown me people who break boundaries, in which builds and contributes to the cultural feminine tradition of empowerment.

Painter
As a painter I have created portraits representing the various womxn who have come forth in social reform fighting the patriarchy in revolutionary spaces.
Gardener
On my spare time I love to take care of my garden and house plants. Like life, their successes and struggles happen in waves.
*Motherhood*
I don’t know what the hell I’m doing.
